Thirty-three-year old Andrew Steven Spencer is being held without bond, following an incident on Franklin Street Monday. Spencer told police he had been cut with a knife by another female occupant at the residence, but the woman claimed Spencer had assaulted her and he cut himself when she threatened to call the police. Two other witnesses agreed with her version of events. Spencer was treated to the cuts and charged with first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct. He was also served a District Court violation of probation warrant, issued in December of last year.
