Lockheed Martin is closing its Middle River location. The aerospace company is consolidating its operations and giving the 465 employees the option of relocating to another site. The closure marks more than 90 years of manufacturing at the site. They currently produce vertical launch systems and equipment for U.S. Navy warships. The change is expected to begin next year.
