VIRTUAL SCHOOLING MAY BECOME FULL TIME OPTION

Maryland House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga has introduced a bill in the General Assembly that would have the state join the 33 states that now have a full-time virtual option in place for schools. House Bill 1170 would allow school systems the option to let students enroll in a purpose-built virtual program, rather than in-person instruction reworked for online learning.
