Nineteen-year-old Cumberland resident Rodrigo Tatum was charged with second-degree assault, following in an incident on Maryland Avenue late Sunday night. Police were called to the 800-block, where they learned of an argument between Tatum and the victim. The argument escalated and Tatum allegedly assaulted the victim. He received a District Court hearing and later released on personal recognizance, pending trial.
