TWO-THIRDS SUPPORT LEGALIZATION OF RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA

A new poll says two-thirds of Marylanders support the legalization of recreational marijuana.  Seventy-seven-percent of Democrats and 50-percent of Republicans are for it.  That’s the most support the survey has received since Goucher College started tracking data in October of 2013.  This comes as the state General Assembly takes up two legalization bills, which would make cannabis products available to those age 21 and older.  State officials say if it becomes law, it would bring in 300-million-dollars in revenue.
