MARYLAND GAS PRICES CONTINUE TO RISE

Gas prices continue to rise in Maryland and across the U.S.  The increase comes as the price of oil jumps by more than two-dollars to 66-dollars a barrel which is the highest price in two years. Triple-A says the increase is a result of OPEC and allied countries deciding on minimal production increases for next month. The average for a gallon of regular in Maryland is two-dollars-79-cents and the national average is two-dollars-77-cents.
