New bills proposed in the state legislature would allow pharmacies to vaccinate young kids. Current law only allows pharmacists to vaccinate anyone age seven and older with a prescription. Maryland health officials say expanding the law would significantly increase immunization access to families. A house subcommittee is taking the bill up on Monday.
