Maryland State Police are encouraging safe driving ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. As COVID restrictions are lifting in many parts of the state, they are anticipating an increase in impaired drivers. So they’re encouraging residents to avoid driving impaired. They’re also beefing up patrols over the next two weeks with a focus on impaired, aggressive and distracted driving.
