COVID POSITIVITY RATE UP IN MARYLAND

The statewide coronavirus positivity rate is up in Maryland.  It’s now clocking in at more than four percent, which is an increase of more than point-one percent over the past 24 hours.  The Maryland Department of Health is reporting more than eleven-hundred new COVID cases.  This brings the state’s confirmed case count up to more than 396-thousand-700.  There were 14 deaths since Wednesday morning, bringing the state’s death toll to more than 79-hundred.
