Cumberland City Police responded Wednesday for a report of a man who had allegedly overdosed in the George Street area. The 36-year-old man was unconscious and in medical distress. Narcan was administered, and the man was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland. Officers later learned the man had ingested a quantity of heroin.
