Federal prosecutors have subpoenaed the business and campaign finance records of Baltimore’s State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby and City Council President Nick Mosby. The items reportedly include tax, bank and credit card statements, loan documents and canceled checks. The couple has not commented, but their attorney Scott Bolden has issued a statement. Bolden says his clients are progressive change agents and that makes them unfair targets of unnecessary scrutiny by federal investigators. He says they have done nothing illegal, inappropriate or unlawful.
