Schellsburg resident Brian Morris was killed last Saturday, after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Valley Road in Napier Township. A 34-year-old Hagerstown man, the driver of the vehicle, struck Morris as he entered the roadway; the driver tried to stop. Morris was airlifted to Conemaugh Hospital and was pronounced dead on Sunday. No criminal charges have been filed against the driver, who was not injured in the incident.
