The Allegany County Health Department is reporting six new COVID-19 cases as of yesterday, with no additional deaths. The county’s positivity rate is less than half of the state’s average. Locally, the rate is 1.83 per cent, as opposed to the state’s rate of 4.37 per cent. A total of 9,370 residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
