MARYLAND ENTERS NEXT PHASE OF COVID VACCINATIONS

As the state enters into Phase 2-A of COVID-19 vaccinations, Governor Larry Hogan announced yesterday that the White House Coronavirus Task Force is promising to “ramp up” the production and delivery of the vaccine by next Tuesday. Governor Hogan also announced six more mass vaccination sites, including Montgomery County, Timonium, Anne Arundel County, and Frederick, along with Howard and Harford Counties. The state will also soon include additional pharmacies and health care providers as vaccination points. He also announced plans to visit the Western Maryland Mass Vaccination Site at the Premium Outlets in Hagerstown on Thursday. By the end of next month, any Maryland resident over the age of 16, who wishes to have a vaccine, can get one. As of yesterday, Governor Hogan says, more than 400,000 Maryland residents have been infected, and unfortunately, more than 8,000 have now died.
