MARYLAND SURPASSES 8,000 COVID DEATHS

Maryland is surpassing eight-thousand COVID-19 deaths.  The state added eleven more virus-related fatalities, bringing Maryland’s death toll to eight-thousand-ten.  Maryland also logged over 700 new infections, raising the state’s coronavirus case count to more than 401-thousand-400.  The state’s positivity rate is up slightly to four-point-45-percent and hospitalizations rose by 29, to 895.  Also, Maryland has administered nearly two-point-three-million COVID vaccine doses and over 801-thousand people have been fully vaccinated.
