COMPLAINTS FILED AGAINST DELEGATE WHO JOINED MEETING FROM O.R.

Complaints have been filed against a Maryland Delegate who joined legislative meetings via Zoom while in an operating room.  Democrat Terri Hill is a board-certified plastic surgeon and she logged in twice while in the OR with patients.  According to the Baltimore Sun Hill says she had permission from the patients and kept their safety and privacy at top of mind.  Dr. Alan Robin has filed complaints with the Maryland Board of Physicians and the General Assembly’s ethics committee, saying he was outraged and appalled by Hill’s actions. He is questioning if Hill could give sufficient attention to both her medical and legislative duties.
