An attorney for Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby is accusing federal prosecutors of misconduct and he wants them removed from the federal tax investigation. A. Scott Bolden claims Stephen Schenning and Leo Wise have a grudge against the Marilyn Mosby dating back to alleged leaks from her office during the federal investigation of the Gun Trace Task Force. According to the Baltimore Sun he says what could have been a routine civil tax examination resulted in a “vindictive” federal criminal investigation. Bolden has written letter to the Justice Department saying the investigation into the Mosby’s is frivolous and politically-motivated.
