A 64-year-old man is in the Allegany County Detention Center, after an apparently unprovoked attack on the downtown Cumberland Mall. Louis Levi Brown is accused walking up to a man and striking him in the face. The assault caused facial injuries to the man, which required medical attention. Brown was charged with first and second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
