HALF OF MARYLAND SCHOOL EMPLOYEES HAVE RECEIVED VACCINE

New state data shows almost half of Maryland’s public school systems say they have been able to vaccinate all employees who wanted a coronavirus vaccine.  WBAL reports that 18 of Maryland’s 24 school districts say that at least 97 percent of the staff members who asked for a shot got it.  Anne Arundel County has reportedly vaccinated all staff members that requested shots, while Baltimore City has only immunized two-thirds of employees that asked to be vaccinated.  It comes as states race to vaccinate residents, as President Biden has directed states to make all adults eligible for shots by May 1st.
