A prayer vigil will be held this Sunday in support of the staff and patients of UPMC-Western Maryland. The Easter Sunday vigil is being organized by Bruce McBride, UPMC-Western Maryland director of Pastoral Care. Vehicles should arrive at the hospital campus at 8 p.m. Vehicles will be directed to a parking area; at 8:10 p.m,, drivers should turn on their hazard lights in a show of support. Prayers will be offered for 10 minutes, both in support of the hospital staff and patients and continued decreased COVID cases. At approximately 8:20 p.m., vehicles will exit the parking lot onto Willowbrook Road.
