COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Maryland. The health department is reporting more than 13-hundred new coronavirus cases since Tuesday morning. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to more than 411-thousand since the pandemic began. Thirteen people have died due to the virus in the past 24 hours, pushing the death toll past 81-hundred.
