The Allegany County Health Department is reporting 22 new COVID-19 cases, with a cumulative total of 6,530; there were no additional deaths. The county’s positivity rate was 3.33 per cent, while the state rate is 5.3 per cent. It also reports that 16,780 residents have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, while 9,773 have received both doses. Maryland is now in Phase 2B of the Vaccine Priority plan.
