Fort Hill High School student and Next Generation Scholar Abigayle Spangler was one of more than 100 high school students throughout the state who recently attended Youth Congress Day 2021. The Maryland Business Roundtable for Education hosted its second annual event virtually this year. Students held a mock legislative meeting, during which they reviewed and debated Senate Bill 127-”Use of Criminal History in Admission-Modifications.” The bill was introduced in January of this year by Senators Patterson and Augustine.
