The Maryland Department of Health is reporting a drop in the statewide COVID-19 positivity rate and hospitalizations today. The positivity rate is now just over five-point-seven percent for the past 24 hours. As of this morning, there are 12-hundred people hospitalized due to the virus in Maryland, which is down by four. Health officials say there are more than 14-hundred new cases and eleven deaths today.
