The Garrett County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a dozen chainsaws from the toolboxes of work vehicles parked in the former Treasure Island Store on Weber Road. The thefts happened sometime between April 2nd and April 5th. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (301)-334-1911; tips, which could result in a cash reward for the recovery of the chainsaws and an arrest can be submitted to the Garrett County Crimesolvers website.
