Charges are pending in a single-vehicle accident in which a car hit a telephone pole on Henderson Avenue, in the vicinity of Polk Street, Saturday. There were injuries, and two people were taken to UPMC-Western Maryland with non-life-threatening injuries. Responding were the Cumberland City Police and the Cumberland Fire Department.
