There were 34 new COVID-19 cases reported in the county as of Sunday, and one additional death. The Health Department is reporting 20,068 Allegany County residents have received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine; 12,938 residents are now fully vaccinated with their second dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. Additionally, 1,985 residents have received the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine. The county’s positivity rate stands at 3.61 per cent, while the state reports a 5.6 per cent rate.
