MARYLAND JOB RATE HOLDING STEADY

Maryland’s unemployment rate is holding steady.  The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics says the state added more than 13-thousand jobs last month, but the jobless rate was unchanged from February at six-point-two-percent.  The Professional and Business Services sector saw the most growth, with an increase of 32-hundred jobs.  Other sectors experiencing growth include Leisure and Hospitality; Mining, Lodging and Construction; and Education and Health Services.
