Mineral County Attorney Timothy Mark Sirk has pleaded guilty to wire fraud for submitting fraudulent pay vouchers for his alleged public defender services. Sirk admitted to submitting at least 33 fraudulent pay vouchers for his alleged public defender work as well as forging the signature of a circuit court judge. He obtained more than $26,000 from December of 2016 to June of 2018. He could face up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.
