GANG MEMBER SENTENCED TO PRISON

A member of a notorious gang has been sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison. U.S. District Judge James Bredar sentenced 29-year-old David Ernesto Nolasco Soriano to 16 years behind bars for a federal racketeering conspiracy charge. Soriano was a member of the MS-13 gang, known for the distribution of marijuana and for extorting money from legitimate and illegitimate businesses. Following his prison term, Soriano will have to serve three years of supervised release for a federal racketeering conspiracy charge.
