A Baltimore priest is facing suspension over sexual abuse allegations involving a child. The Archdiocese of Baltimore says it received allegations against Corpus Christi Catholic Church pastor Martin Demek earlier this year. Demek is accused of sexually abusing an eleven-year-old in 1989 at Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church in Manchester. The Archdiocese says it immediately turned the information over to the Carroll County Sheriff’s office. Their policy is to suspend a priest following a full investigation.
