STATE EMPLOYEES TO BE RELOCATED TO DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE

Thirty-three-hundred state employees are being relocated to downtown Baltimore.  Governor Larry Hogan announced yesterday the state will be committing 50-million-dollars to pay for the relocation. The plan is to help stabilize the downtown area with 12 different state agencies moving to the central business district.  The plan is to begin immediately with a request to relocate the headquarters of the Maryland Department of Human Services.
