The Allegany County Health Department and the Department of Emergency Services have announced dates for three walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics over the next two weeks. The first clinic will be held at the Oldtown Fire Department on Tuesday, April 27th; next will be the Flintstone Fire Department on Thursday, April 29th, followed by a clinic at the Goodwill Fire Company Armory on Tuesday, May 4th. All of the clinics will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and any Allegany County resident, 18 years of age or older, can come to the clinic without an appointment. As of yesterday, there have been 20 additional cases, and one additional death. The county’s positivity rate is now at 2.97 per cent, while the state reports a 5.28 per cent rate.
