Twenty-three-year-old Yosmar Ortega Sosa of Hancock is awaiting an initial appearance in Allegany County District Court, following a traffic stop early last night on Route 36 in the area of Lonaconing and Midland. Ortega was found to have marijuana paraphernalia, a loaded .45-calibre handgun and several open containers of alcohol. He initially resisted arrest, but was taken into custody and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, before his appearance in District Court.
