MAN ADMITS TO ROLE IN WEST VIRGINIA DRUG TRAFFICKING RING

Federal officials say a Somerset County man has admitted to his role in a West Virginia drug trafficking ring.  Forty-seven-year-old Lance Smith has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin and crack cocaine.  He’ll be sentenced later this year in Wheeling.  Smith faces a maximum of 20-years in federal prison and a one-million-dollar fine.
