OVER 1200 NEW COVID CASES, 20 ADDITIONAL DEATHS

The coronavirus is blamed for nearly two-dozen more deaths in Maryland.  The state health department reports 20 additional deaths, over 12-hundred new cases and a seven-day positivity rate that’s down slightly to five-point-one-five-percent.  The DOH also announced that 44 fewer people are hospitalized with the virus, while 300 are occupying ICU beds.  Also, more than 75-thousand additional vaccine doses have been administered and close to 29-percent of the state’s population has been fully vaccinated against the virus.
