Jury trials for civil and criminal cases are scheduled to resume today as the Maryland Judiciary enters Phase Five of its COVID-19 operations plan. Health protocols will remain in place for anyone who enters a courthouse or judiciary facility, following CDC guidelines that include wearing masks and social distancing. Each courthouse has plexiglass barriers, hand sanitizer and cleaning protocols in place to limit the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Anyone entering a courthouse must submit to a coronavirus questionnaire and a contactless temperature check.
