WEST VIRGINIA WOMAN ADMITS ROLE IN DRUG OPERATION

Cabins, West Virginia resident Betty Arlene Chapman has pleaded guilty to her role in a methamphetamine and fentanyl distribution operation. The federal charges carry a sentence of at least five, and up to 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million. The crimes, which include possession with intent to distribute and aiding and abetting, occurred in January of last year in Grant County.
