Charles “Chuck” Wayne Moats, of Oakland, was extradited from Preston County and now faces felony drug charges. The arrest warrant for Moats stemmed from a drug investigation that occurred on Childs Road near Oakland during March. The investigation led to a search warrant, and the seizure of approximately $10,000 in methamphetamine. Moats was held in the Garrett County Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
