REFINERY BACK IN BUSINESS FOLLOWING FIRE

Nearly two weeks after a fire ripped through a giant shed at the Domino Sugar refinery, the plant is back up to full speed. The April 20th blaze caused the plant to shut down parts of its operations so debris from the fire could be cleaned up and production could resume. The plant says it is also replacing its damaged neon, rooftop sign with an LED replica. Domino is crediting the quick response of the Baltimore Fire Department in controlling the blaze and preventing it from damaging other parts of the refinery.
