UNDER ARMOR TO PAY FINES

Under Armour has announced it will pay nine-million-dollars to settle federal charges pertaining to the company’s accounting practices. The Baltimore-based athletics company says it has entered into an agreement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to settle the allegations. An investigation was launched by the commission regarding the company’s disclosure and impact of certain sales during the third quarter of 2015 through the fourth quarter of 2016. According to the company, the settlement resolves all SEC claims.
