STATE’S ATTORNEY REACTS TO GOVERNOR’S COMMENTS

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby is reacting to Governor Larry Hogan’s comments about violent crime in the city. The governor tweeted that the city needs better laws to hold violent criminals accountable and prosecutors who will actually prosecute those laws.  In response, Mosby tweeted about the “audacity of Mr. Blue Lives Matter,” saying the governor vetoed police reform, killed the Red Line and vetoed education funding through Kirwan. She says he never misses a chance to dump on Baltimore City and is only concerned about Baltimore when it’s politically convenient.  She says in times of crisis, leaders lead and don’t point fingers.
