ANNAPOLIS MS-13 MEMBER SENTENCED TO PRISON

An Annapolis MS-13 gang member will spend 38 years in federal prison.  Twenty-three-year-old Fermin Gomez-Jimenez pleaded guilty to his role in a racketeering enterprise and using a firearm during a crime of violence in connection with gang activities.  According to the plea agreement, Gomez-Jimenez was a member of the Hempstead clique of MS-13 from about 2015 through 2017 and participated in a conspiracy that included assaults, murder, attempted murder, robbery and drug trafficking.  Several co-defendants have also pleaded guilty.
