TSA CHECKPOINTS PREPARED TO HANDLE INCREASED TRAVEL AT BWI

BWI airport is expecting an increase in travelers this summer, and the TSA says it is prepared to support a healthy and secure environment.  Everyone is required to wear a mask in line with federal mandates, and masks will be provided for travelers without them.  Travelers will see social distance reminders, and TSA officers will be wearing masks and gloves.  Passengers will be asked to scan their own boarding pass, and there will be frequent cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces.  The TSA is also allowing travelers to bring one container of up to 12 ounces per passenger in carry-on bags.  Travelers should consider enrolling in TSA PreCheck to speed up the process.
