A juvenile was struck by a car on Route 36 yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., and was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland with life-threatening injuries. The juvenile was crossing the road, and was struck by a vehicle, driven by Kathleeen Beal of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Beal stopped at the scene. The investigation is continuing by the Maryland State Police.
