VACCINATION RATE RISES IN MARYLAND

Two-thirds of Maryland adults are at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19.  The state health department reports over 67-percent of Marylanders 18 and older have received at least one dose.  Nearly two-point-seven-million residents, or about 44-percent, are fully vaccinated.  Thursday’s report lists nearly 59-thousand new shots administered.  They include 24-thousand new first doses, 33-thousand second shots and 18-hundred of the one-and-done Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
