MARYLAND BEGINS TWO-MILLION-DOLLAR VACCINATION LOTTERY

Marylanders who have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine will now have a shot at winning a share of two-million-dollars. The Maryland Lottery partnered with state Health Department to give out 40-thousand-dollars a day to a randomly selected winner through July 3. On the Fourth of July, a grand prize winner will get 400-thousand-dollars. All residents 18 and older who have received a vaccination in Maryland have a chance to win. No registration is needed, but people vaccinated through federal sites are not eligible because their information is not provided to the state’s Health Department.  The prize money comes from the Lottery’s marketing budget.
