MARYLAND RECORDS NEARLY 6 MILLION VACCINATIONS

The state of Maryland has administered nearly six-million doses of coronavirus vaccine with just over 5-million-900 residents receiving at least one dose.  More than 2-point-7-million residents are fully vaccinated.  There are 448 residents hospitalized with the virus, that’s the lowest level since October. The state has recorded 228 new cases of the virus and 15 additional deaths, bringing the number of fatalities to more than 8800 since the start of the pandemic.  The state’s seven-day positivity rate is 2.04 percent.
