ANONYMOUS “POWER PACK” CLAIMS PRIZE

An anonymous group has claimed the $731 million Powerball prize, the largest in Maryland Lottery history. The group is known as the “Power Pack,” has opted to take a lump sum cash payout of $366 million after taxes. They had until July 21st to claim the prize. The ticket was sold at Coney Market, and owner Richard Ravenscroft received  $100,000 for selling the winning ticket. Where the winners live is unknown. An initial report that a Lonaconing couple had won the prize was false.
