Berkeley Springs resident Gary Andrew Ring faces charges of burglary, arson threat, telephone misuse, repeat calls, stalking, and harassment following a Sunday morning incident in the 100-block of Oak Street. Ring had allegedly been sending the victim threatening messages and had also threatened to burn the victim’s residence down. He also called them over 100 times. He fled before police arrived, but was taken into custody a short time later, and taken to the hospital for an unrelated medical issue. He received a District Court hearing, and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center, held without bond.
